I’d like to mention the professional job of the Security Guards and especially the job of the Team Leader who really cared about the safety of our voyage and tried to arrange the job of the Guards in a way that their job is maximally efficient and at the same time does not interfere too much with the regular responsibilities and job of the ship’s crew.
The Security Team worked in union with the Master and crew to form a solid security response against any threats arising from possible pirate attacks during passage through the High Risk Area. Watchkeeping was carried out, and BMP5 practices were followed and implemented as much as possible.
I would be glad to see this level of security on board at any time.
The HRM security team stayed onboard M/T Phoenix Concord for six days. During this period, they showed very good cooperation with
the ship crew, excellent experience regarding anti-piracy measures, and kept vigilant watch. They are recommended for upcoming service
onboard my vessel as a security guard team.
Special thanks to all members which are engaged in our security duty and apprected to valuable efforts during the HRS transit.
